So, Right Media, where I work, has been acquired by Yahoo. The New York Times broke the story; since then, there’s been a ton of commentary (so far, Fred Wilson has the best I’ve read.) I’m just curious to see how the entire acquisition process works out and what it’s like to work within a company like Yahoo. I’m sure I’ll have more to write on this later – as you can imagine, things have been somewhat busy at work lately, and certainly aren’t going to be any different today!
UPDATE: Additional insightful commentary from Charlene Li.

Welcome to the Yahoo! family Greg.
Hey Greg, congrats on the big acquisition! In my comment “jeez” was just a general industry “jeez” I guess…money flying everywhere, billion dollar buyouts, it’s exciting and scary at the same time
Congrats again, and good luck under the Yahoo umbrella!
Congrats on the cash windfall assuming you had vested stock.
I’ve been in acquisitions before and almost always hated the large company culture and quickly bailed.
Hope you have better luck in that dept.
