… is worth two in your network. Or maybe ten. Anyhow, I’m enjoying Niki’s criticism of Jeff Jarvis on Glam. Not saying an ad network isn’t a fine business, especially if it’s got a large advertiser base and good targeting technology behind it – it’s hard to just up and replace that with a salesperson. But an ad network with X million uniques isn’t the same thing as an owned-and-operated site with X million uniques, and confusing the two is sort of embarrassing. (Although I certainly understand why Glam is trying to. $450MM valuation? Oy, someone’s either been taken for a ride or is a firm believer in the greater fool theory.)
