I’m ridiculously happy to be able to tell everyone what I’ve been up to for the past couple of months – together with my good friend (and developer extraordinaire), Jesse Rohland, I’ve started a company, Pinch Media. If I had to sum us up in a few words, I’d say “FeedBurner for iPhone developers” – we provide free tools to developers to help them better understand how their applications are being used. Our first service, Pinch Analytics, launched today. I’m also ridiculously happy to announce that we’ve closed a seed round – our investors include Union Square Ventures and First Round Capital, as well as Jerry Neumann, Michael Yavonditte, Dave Morgan, and Sharkey Goldstein Capital.
It’s so nice to have something underway – I’ve learnt such a huge amount since we kicked this thing off in April, I anticipate learning a huge amount more, and I’ve never been happier with my work. If you’d like to get involved with the company, drop me a line at greg [at] pinchmedia.com – we’re going to be doing some hiring, and we’re always looking to talk to iPhone developers about our products, both present and planned.
